
Lori Smith Britton
Chief Development Council
Lori brings more than three decades of development and nonprofit experience to Epiphany, providing strategic counsel and tactile fundraising support as part of the Development Team to ensure the school meets all of its fundraising goals.
Lori, a native of Dorchester Massachusetts and a graduate of Boston Latin School, holds a Bachelor's Degree from Syracuse University and a Master's Degree in Urban Affairs from Boston University. She lives in Dorchester with her husband and two daughters.

Kara Fagan-Rayner
Senior Director, Annual Giving & Development Operations
Kara has over twenty years of nonprofit development experience, including time spent at the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, Chicago Foundation for Women, and Storycorps. Kara spent five years as the Executive Director for the Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga, Tennessee, and served on the Vestry for Thankful Memorial Episcopal Church. Originally from the northeast, Kara is thrilled to be back and working as a part of Epiphany’s mighty development team.
She has an undergraduate degree in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago and a Masters in Nonprofit Administration from North Park University. Kara lives in Braintree with her wife, their daughter, and a dog and cat.

Abhi Kumar
Marketing and Development Operations Intern
Abhi Kumar is a Marketing and Development Operations Intern, where he brings his studies to life by strengthening donor engagement, enhancing reporting processes, and supporting key fundraising initiatives that fuel Epiphany’s mission. Abhi’s approach to development is both strategic and relational, ensuring that each interaction and process benefits the school’s community and programs directly.
Beyond work, Abhi is dedicated to staying connected with his loved ones, and regularly spending time with friends and family. Also a passionate sports fan, he enjoys following basketball and embracing the community spirit that sport brings. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Northeastern University with plans to graduate in 2025!
