“The opportunity to be a part of Epiphany in this role, with my love and respect for the school and working with urban youth, was an aspiration fulfilled. My personal goal is to provide a supportive, family-like atmosphere that keeps our graduates eager to succeed in school and in life. I attribute my work ethic and accomplishments to being a member of a program in high school very similar to Epiphany’s Graduate Support Program and recognize the validity of programs like ours”

Steeve Joazard
Director of Graduate Support
Mr. Joazard is a 2004 graduate of Epiphany in his twelfth year at Epiphany. He taught at the middle school for eleven years and is in his first year as the Director of Graduate Support. After graduating in 2004, Mr. Joazard attended Archbishop Williams and then earned his B.A in English at Umass Boston. After becoming a teaching fellow in 2013, he received his Master’s Degree in Secondary Education at Boston College as a Donovan Teaching Scholar. (We can confirm that he is considered a legend at all four schools.) Mr. Joazard returned to Epiphany because of his love for the school and the students it serves. He believes that each student has a small paragraph to write in this world. He strives to help them write those paragraphs well. Outside of school, Mr. Joazard enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife, Ms. Aybar, and his daughters, Alma and Vida. Mr. Joazard is also on the board at Level Ground MMA, an organization that provides free martial arts training to Boston youth, where he is a half-decent jiu-jitsu practitioner.

Morgan Monteiro

Ms. Monteiro attended the University of Rhode Island, where she earned a B.A. in Sociology. After graduation, she joined the Epiphany community as a Teaching Fellow. In her second year, she earned her Masters in Secondary Education from Boston College through the Donovan Program. After gaining valuable experience in the classroom, Ms. Monteiro transitioned into High School Admissions and Graduate Support, where she discovered her passion for helping students find their next “best fit” and building meaningful connections with graduates.
